Description
The farming terraces of Jisang are where all of the tower's food is grown. There are dozens of types of vegetables, grains, and fruits grown here. The farmers use a method of growing their food vertically to save space. Due to the small space available, the plants have grown partially out of their original containers and now grow alongside the walls and throughout parts of the tower. Farmers and other citizens are too worried about harming their food supply to clean up the plant's growth, so they just let them be and grow wherever they end up.
The floors dedicated to farming are located near the upper class floors so that the food is far away from the polluted grown and also as close to the sun as possible. Although the farms are located higher up in the tower, they are accessible by anyone who wants to volunteer to take care of them. However, not just anyone is allowed to take food from the farms, and though people have tried, there are strict rules about food distribution.
